Additionally, a full Ethics and Business course is required to complete certification, ensuring students are well-rounded and prepared for professional practice.

Floor Shiatsu, a popular method of Oriental Bodywork, is highly valued by the general public. This technique allows practitioners to offer care, warmth, and health through non-invasive touch. The practice involves applying slow, deepening pressure, which helps alleviate physical, structural, and neurological issues. As a full-body treatment, Floor Shiatsu serves as an excellent foundation for offering clients an ongoing wellness package.

York Community College’s Shiatsu program provides the tools and knowledge necessary to help practitioners bring this healing art to their clients, supporting long-term health and wellness.
