Pharmacy Assistant Program

The Pharmacy Assistant program at York Community College is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in the pharmaceutical field. This comprehensive course covers pharmacology, pharmacy mathematics, and pharmacy billing software, enabling students to master foundational concepts and technical proficiency. Participants will also gain a strong grasp of basic mathematical principles, computer applications, and keyboarding.

This workshop focuses on the Grassroots Chinese method and the teachings of Paul Nogier and Terry Oleson to treat the ear points of the major body systems and the reflex points of individual imbalances with Magrain Pellets, Vaccaria Press Seeds and Vibrational Medicine Therapies.

Admission Requirements

To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. General Requirements:

    • Be a mature student (19 years or older) or have completed Grade 12.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in Grade 10 Math or equivalent.
  2. Language Requirements:

    • Successfully pass the English Language Assessment Test provided by the College.
    • International students must have an IELTS score of 5.5 bands or higher OR pass the College’s English Language Assessment Test.
