Scholarships and Tuition Discounts Now Available
Financial Aid
We are offering a 20% tuition discount to all applicants that meet the admissions requirements for the program.
Scholarship: Students may apply for scholarships that award up to 50% of their tuition by filling out the scholarship application and submitting it no later than 6 weeks prior to the start date of the offering they apply for. The Scholarships apply to the Full Programs and the Individual Courses for certification in the CHHSP and EST and are based on GPA, Volunteerism, and a written Essay.
Admission Requirements
Grade 12 Graduation or 19 years of age as a mature student, or proof of Post-Secondary Education or Training Written student interview with 2 letters of recommendation Resume Government issued identification International students will provide the General Admission requirements, a valid visa, and follow the policies for Language Proficiency by submitting qualifying test scores from recognized standard ESL Testing. IELTS overall band 6.0 or other equivalent.
Applicants for General Admission to York Community College must meet all requirements. No Waivers Apply. EST and CHHSP Students require a Medical Clearances Letter and Criminal Record Check for working in Student Clinic.
Payment of application and Registration fee is due upon Application.
- If a course application has been sent you will receive a full application package from our program advisors. If you do not receive a reply within 2 business days please check your junk email.
- If a workshop application is sent, you will be invoiced with a registration attached and any applicable fees which will be due at the time your full registration is completed and accepted.
- All workshop fees are due 2 weeks prior to the workshop start date. Cancellation before 7 days prior to the start date will result in a 70% refund. Cancellation within 7 days prior to the start date will result in a 50% refund. There are no refunds for online courses once the codes and materials have been received.
